New Year Resolution (II Peter 3:18)

"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the honor both now and on that eternal day."

Time flies fast, here is another year. There is this custom in America, that people made resolutions at the beginning of a year. Normally it starts ambitiously and ends unobserved. For example, I made "keeping myself spiritually and physically fit" last year, but God knows how much I've achieved.

Because this year's new year was spent on a vacation, out of town. It was exciting, busy, as well as exhausted, hence, I did not get a chance to quiet down, review my past year, and make resolution for this year. Today I read this verse, it reminded me timely to make it a resolution of this year, "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to him be the honor", not only this year, but a lifelong mission...
